About Margaret

Margaret graduated from the University of Missouri with undergraduate and graduate degrees in Industrial Engineering.   After working in the engineering field for several years, she left the workforce to focus on her children, including serving as an advocate for educational and therapeutic objectives for her older son, an individual with Autism.

Margaret attended the UALR Bowen School of Law in the part-time division while working at UAMS and completing several clerkships.  She graduated at the top of her class in 2014 and was sworn into the Arkansas Bar in September 2014.  She has been in private practice for over ten years.

In 2020, Margaret opened a solo practice, enabling her to expand her services and support families like hers with their estate planning and guardianship needs.  She seized the opportunity to partner with her son, Matt, when it presented itself in 2025.

About Matt

Matt graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a degree in History and attended the University of Arkansas School of Law at Fayetteville. In addition to his studies, Matt served as a law clerk in the Washington County Public Defender's office for much of his law school years.  He was sworn into the Arkansas Bar in 2022.

Matt joined Legal Aid of Arkansas as a staff attorney and worked there for two and a half years, primarily practicing family law and estate planning. In that time, he gained extensive experience litigating cases representing both plaintiffs and defendants. While at Legal Aid, he worked on two medical-legal partnerships: one focused on assisting individuals affected by substance use disorders, and another specializing in veterans’ law.

As part of these, he was able to meet a wide variety of people, diagnose their legal needs, and represent or advise them while hosting a weekly helpdesk for any veteran who needed it.
